In 2012, Indonesia’s social media campaigns spread through various digital channels. The most popular channels are still Facebook, Twitter, and Kaskus. Several campaigns now explore new popular channels, such as Youtube, Pinterest, and Instagram.
Facebook and microsite are used for activation platform, while Twitter and Kaskus are mostly used to spread buzz about the campaign. Several brands have Youtube page now, though still rely on Facebook and microsite for its activation program.
